Janet Saltus
My passion for hair started at a young age watching my aunt grow in her hair career.
I always had my hands in hair whether it be a mannequin or simply brushing through my Oma’s hair. I pursued my passion right after Highschool by enrolling in Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School. I’ve worked in salons throughout Houston, Texas and even Alaska! For many years I worked in a salon suite with my aunt & mentor Sabine. Post pandemic, I decided to shift to working from home full-time, and the dream of having my own She Shed salon was born! My husband helped this vision become a reality.
I specialize in dry-cutting, balayage, highlights, easily maintained haircuts and gray-blending for women ready to embrace their gray.
My favorite product lines include Joico hair color, Malibu C, and Moroccan Oil.
My goal for each service is to have my client leave feeling like they were heard and their hair to feel even better than when they came to me!
